My collection is called "Batya". It is inspired by the beauty of the world around us. The stars shine and the flowers bloom, but they don’t have to do anything to be loved. They simply exist. In the English language, some synonyms for the word “use” are “worth” and “value”. We have indirectly communicated that ones worth and value comes from what they do or are useful for. You cannot simply exist.
I want young women to see that their worth and value is defined by their Creator, not what they can offer or achieve in this world. The Hebrew word Batya means, “daughter of God”. I want my customer to know that they are seen and loved by their Heavenly father for who they are. The clothes you put on your body should make you feel confident and comfortable to take on anything. My collection offers a diverse collection of pieces that can easily be interchanged so that you can take on whatever the day holds, while feeling confident in who you are.
I am currently working on recruiting models and gathering fabrics before starting construction on my first piece next week.
