Project 01

For this project I used one of my mood boards from a previous assignment to create a 1920s, undergarments inspired, collection.  I was very inspired by the attention to detail and the delicate beauty of undergarments from that time period.  At the time, "undergarments" were never seen by anyone except a husband or a lady's maid.  Even dressing robes were considered indecent attire yet they were still crafted with so much detail.  I wanted to create a collection that was "underwear-as-outerwear".  Something that took the unseen details of these undergarments and made them seen.
